Our Mission and Core Values
Our Mission
We are committed to providing the most accurate and dependable online intelligence assessment available worldwide.
Our Vision
We aim to deliver a fair, transparent, and precise method for assessing intelligence on a global level.
Promoting Fairness
We uphold fairness through:
- Designing a culturally neutral test: Our questions use clear and simple language to minimize cultural bias. While achieving perfect neutrality is difficult, we strive to make the test as fair as possible.
- Allowing multiple attempts: We recognize that factors like anxiety or lack of practice can affect performance, so we offer unlimited retakes to help individuals reach their highest potential.
- Providing a wide range of questions: With an extensive question pool, memorizing answers is unlikely, ensuring equal access to the content, regardless of location.
Commitment to Transparency
We prioritize transparency in our testing process through:
- Offering full access to test data: After each test, we provide detailed information about the questions, including average IQ scores, accuracy rates across different IQ ranges, and median response times.
- Clarifying the scoring system: We aim to make our scoring method as clear as possible so that users can understand how their scores are calculated and how they can improve their performance.
Dedication to Accuracy
We ensure precision by:
- Constantly evaluating question validity: We regularly assess each question’s ability to accurately predict intelligence, enhancing the precision of our assessments.
- Utilizing extensive data: Our test is informed by data from over 2 million users globally, providing a strong foundation for determining accurate intelligence scores.
- Frequently updating our question bank: We consistently refresh and update our questions to maintain the test’s relevance and accuracy.
Our Scoring Method
Our scoring system is designed to provide an accurate measure of intelligence through:
Time Limits and Question Distribution
Participants have 20 minutes to answer as many of the 30 questions as possible. The questions are divided into 20 levels of difficulty, using Rasch and 2PL item response theory models based on over 500,000 completed tests.
Adaptive Difficulty
All participants begin with a level 1 question. Difficulty increases by one level for each correct answer and decreases by one level for each incorrect response. Points are awarded based on the difficulty level (e.g., correctly answering a level 12 question earns 12 points). No points are given for incorrect answers.
Score Calculation
The total points from correct answers are summed to create a raw score. This score is then compared to the global test-taker population to determine the IQ score, with a median of 100 and a standard deviation of 15.
